In the summer of 2007, Bear Lake, Utah, the only thing more frightening than a creature lurking beneath the surface of Utah's Bear Lake is the same creature crawling on dry land! This nightmare materializes for a group of women gathered for a lakeside birthday party whose late-night swim leaves them running terrified from the water. Two of the girls, Jan Hollis and Rose Peters, couldn't get out of the water on time and get eaten. And when the lake monster leaves its murky depths, there's nowhere left to run! When there was only 3 girls left, 2 (the birthday girl Erica Jamieson and the late-girl, Mary Allan Stewart) are attacked by the monster. Erica survives her attack and goes into a car with Sally Rudolph and go to get help. Mary Allan Stewart was not as lucky and died from the attack. In total, 3 girls died. Their bodies were never recovered, and the lake was trenched.
This story is INSPIRED by the possibility that hidden creatures exist.

So why can't I find any interviews with the survivors? Why does Lost Tapes never say how they acquired the tapes for their shows? When I look up the first and last name of any person this show mentions, the names only come up under Lost Tapes.

The reason you can't find interviews with the survivors is because they DON'T EXIST. The footage ISN'T REAL either, in the beginning of each episode of the show, it states that the following story is INSPIRED by the possibility of their existance. If the footage was real, it would have been all over the news and this footage probably wouldn't air on TV.
